Supporting and Enriching Childhood Development

We’re Busy Updating Our Website.

While we are nearly complete, we are still in the process of adding certain functions and final content.

Shen Men / Spirit Gate Is Evolving.

The times they are a-changing and so is what I am doing; same name, same philosophy, same therapies, different offerings. The site is now showcasing three programs I have developed and am involved with: Foundational Fun Summer Camp, Fourth Grade After School Program, and First Grade Support Program.
All these programs work closely with The Minnesota Waldorf School but are not a part of the school. All these programs work to support children’s foundational capacities to help them feel more at ease and resilient in our world.

At the heart of these programs is the importance and healing power of relationships. Finally, all these programs are informed by Rudolf Steiner’s understanding of how to nurture health and development. If you are interested in finding out more about these programs this site should help answer questions and make registering and filling out forms easy. ~ Conradine Sanborn, LAc, MA Ed, CCP and EEA

Foundational Fun Summer

This yearly two-week summer day camp is designed to help children become more comfortable in their bodies and at ease in their learning. Program Leaders use modalities that complement Waldorf Education, with exercises drawn from
Extra Lesson, Spatrial Dynamics,
Reflex Integration.

After School Program

Designed for small groups of 4th grade students, this program offers a variety of activities chosen to help children work with capacities of touch, balance, and movement. Key benefits are building self-confidence, mastering fears, forming friendships, and being out in nature.

First Grade Support Program

For children entering first grade, this program offers daily support to help build resiliency and success in the classroom. Shen Men / Spirit Gate brings together medical and educational streams for a holistic, individualized experience for both children and their parents.
